First of all, let’s clear the air. From my bio, you will see that I have a thing for the health and wellness industry. I’ve always loved helping people navigate their fitness world and supercharge their wellness journey🚀

We are in a world where our schedules are always packed and that leaves our health on a slippery slope.

But nowww, we are going to talk about a game-changing plan that is guaranteed to improve your approach to your well-being🏂

This article serves as your map to reaching your desired haven. Finding your way in the health and wellness journey can be hard. People just load you with information and no proper guide or clear goals on how to carry them out🤦. That is why, this article will be your North Star 🌟

Why Clear Goals Rock!

A Personal GPS:

Imagine this: You’re set to embark on your wellness journey but you don’t know where you are headed🙁.

Are you a fan of the Disney heroine, Moana? I’m going to assume ‘Yes’ and kick-off 🤗

When Moana started her journey to restore the heart of Te Fiti, she knew what she had to do which as we know, was to restore her village to the beauty it once was. She found Maui, convinced him to join her and together they set sail for Te Fiti.

Let’s not forget, her determination provided her focus.

That is why clear goals are important. They provide you with a target🎯, an outcome to work hard for and ignite a wonderful result. These health and wellness goals serve as your North Star.

Measure Your Progress:

Humans lovee progress (I know I do😁). We love to see that what we’re doing is heading somewhere or bringing successes.

That is why when you have a concise plan or fitness goal, you are able to measure how far you’ve gone or how well you are doing📈.

If you break your goals into milestones, it can really boost your efforts. As you hit each one, you get a step closer to your desired result🏌️.

The Power of Commitment.

Do you know what commitment can do when you have clear goals?

Let’s take a quick dive into the world of bikini bottom🏊.

Do you remember when SpongeBob decided to train for the bikini bottom super-sled race? He goes ahead to set a goal to win the race. Then you know what he goes an does next?

He asks Patrick to join! We all know SpongeBob’s history of being very playful and overbearing with his tasks. Then we add Patrick to the mix!😲 It’s a real SPLASH.

This time…

He was totally focused on his goals for winning the race.

SpongeBob is not only committed but very much answerable to Patrick. We can all learn a little from this.

Just like SpongeBob, when you involve your friends in your fitness journey, they can help you commit to it and make you push harder💪.

And No. Patrick and SpongeBob didn’t win the race🙁. Their sled crashed before they could ever reach the finish line. But you get the point😊.

Flexibility.

Flexibility is just for ballerinas and gymnasts.

Who said that😱?

No, it’s not!

Infact, your goals can be flexible too.

Life is filled with unpredictability. That is why your goals should be able to accommodate any impromptu shifts and at the same time, maintain its purpose 💪.
